We're committed to education and we specialise in working with schools, helping to implement and manage effective financial systems and processes.

Edtech was established by secondary school principal John Somerville back in 1992. John’s aim was to assist schools with the administrative changes brought about by the advent of Tomorrow’s Schools, in part by introducing and supporting electronic systems.

Across the years, in addition to providing financial services, we have been the support partner for MUSAC software, designed, implemented and maintained a wide range of ICT systems to support teaching and learning, and developed learning management systems. This multi-faceted involvement has enabled us to build a depth of knowledge and understanding of schools and the way they work.

Central to our approach is to grow the knowledge and understanding of the school personnel we work with, helping them to confidently report on the financial information in their monthly and annual reports and to make informed decisions. We also provide a range of training programmes and professional development opportunities to supplement this on the job learning.

We're proud of the reputation that we've gained for our absolute commitment to getting things right, for our responsiveness, and for our track record in meeting the individual needs of our client schools.

We value the professional care demonstrated by our Edtech personnel - especially as a new school in an establishment phase. The guidance and expertise has been appropriate, relevant and tailored to meet our school needs. We have felt supported all the way!
