Library Manager Introduction
Overview:    This seminar is for new users to MUSAC Library Manager
Features:   
  • Adding books to your catalogue using manual entry or from Web supplier (e.g. SCIS, National Library)
  • Adding/updating borrowers
  • Creating basic filters
  • Circulation – issues and returns
  • Basic Cleanup facility – removing deleted borrowers, bulk status change, quick search and replace
  • Printing basic lists for borrower barcodes, overdue notices etc
  • OPAC (Online Public Access) Searches
Suitable for:    Primary, Intermediate and Secondary Schools

Library Manager Stocktake

Overview:  

This course covers recommended preparation of data prior to stocktake.                  

Features:   

How to use the stocktaking facility, cleaning up your database after stocktake, printing off lists (e.g. purchase value analysis as required by auditors) etc.

Suitable for:   

Primary, Intermediate & Secondary Schools, unless specified otherwise.

Overview:   

For experienced MUSAC Library Manager users wanting to upgrade their skills and find out how to benefit from using the more intricate features available in the programme.

  • Import/export of data
  • File maintenance
  • Separating library databases.
